THE COUNTY'S ANNUAL WATERWAY ENVIRONMENTAL EVENT
The Brunswick County Waterway Cleanup, organized by Waterway Cleanup Day 501c(3), is the county’s first waterway cleanup and 2nd annual environmental event. The first Waterway Cleanup will be held to help ensure that both the community as a whole and the marine industry could enjoy our local waterways. The 2024 cleanup will kick off on Saturday, April 20th. In total, more than 100 volunteers of all ages are needed by land and water. Twenty boats are needed/sceduled to work at more than 3 sites across South Brunswick County to remove as much trash and debris from our inland waterways. This year’s Cleanup will be on Saturday, April 20th, 2022. You do not need a boat to participate!
